The Story of the Skinny Turtle
Ok, we all know the story of the tortoise and the hare, right?
Well, the tortoise won the race because he kept up a slow, steady pace. Even when it looked like there was no way in the world the turtle could ever catch up to the speedy jack rabbit, he didn't stop. He didn't give up. He kept on plugging along.
That is my goal with this weight loss journey. Never to give up. Even when the weight loss is slow, even when it feels like it isn't working, even when it feels impossible. Never give up!
And one day, I'll be the turtle and win the race with my weight.
I will be... The Skinny Turtle.

ReplyDeleteSounds good! We have a tortoise...I will think of you when I see her plodding along. She actually moves pretty darn fast when she is on a mission...by the way. And, she can break through many obstacles that we use to fence her in. Nice qualities! :)
